Title

RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Approve and Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Consultant Services Agreement with Rincon Consultants, Inc. for Contract Planning Services, for an amount not to exceed $250,000

 

Body

WHEREAS, in September of 2018, the City advertised a Request for Qualifications for contract planning services and, through a competitive process, a selection panel recommended that Rincon Consultants, Inc. enter into a Professional Services Agreement with the City for said services; and

 

WHEREAS, a draft agreement between the City of San Leandro and Rincon Consultants, Inc. was presented to this City Council; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:

 

1.                     That the City Manager is authorized to execute Consultant Services Agreements with Rincon Consultants, Inc. for amounts not to exceed $250,000 annually for Contract Planning Services to be provided on an as-needed basis, and funded through a combination of cost recovery from applicants and non-cost recovery sources; and

 

2.                     That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said agreement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and

 

3.                     That an original executed agreement shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution.

 

4.                     That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
