RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Amend Chapter 7 of the City of San Leandro Administrative Code to Add a New Policy that Governs Use of the City Hall LED Lighting Display System

 

Body

 

WHEREAS, San Leandro City Hall is outfitted with a new multi-color LED lighting display system; and

 

WHEREAS, this system can display a spectrum of colors and color schemes across the exterior façade of the City Hall; and

 

WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Mayor and City Council that this new lighting system be used to highlight, celebrate, or otherwise draw public attention to official City business as well as local, national, or world events, or other activities or campaigns that benefit the San Leandro community; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council by this resolution will establish a written policy that governs use of the City Hall LED lighting display system, as further detailed and described in the attached.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:

 

That said administrative policy which is attached is hereby adopted.
