RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Amend Title 24, Chapter 1, Article 1, Section 24.1.100 of the City of San Leandro Administrative Code Approving Adjustments to the City of San Leandro Arts Commission’s Regular Meeting Date and Time

WHEREAS, on January 10, 2018, staff support for the City of San Leandro Arts Commission was transferred from the Recreation & Human Services Department to the City Manager’s Office; and
WHEREAS, due to pre-existing meeting commitments that conflicted with the standard Arts Commission meeting schedule on the second Wednesday of the month, the Arts Commission identified an alternative meeting date for future meetings; and
WHEREAS, on March 28, 2018, the Commission met on its new meeting date; and
WHEREAS, on May 23, 2018, it was suggested by one of the Commissioners to move the meeting time to 6:30 pm rather than 7:00 pm; and
WHEREAS, on June 27, 2018, the Arts Commission voted unanimously to change the meeting time to 6:30 pm
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1. That Title 24, Chapter 1, Article 1, Section 24.1.100 of the City of San Leandro Administrative Code is hereby amended to identify that regular meetings of the City of San Leandro Arts Commission shall be held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, convening at the hour of 6:30 pm, unless further amended by unanimous vote of the City of San Leandro Arts Commission.
