SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends that the City Council approve, by minute order, an amendment to Resolutions No. 2019-015 and 2019-026 to coincide with District 2 and District 6 City Council member terms and reflect the term date of December 31, 2020.
BACKGROUND
On February 4th 2019 the City Council adopted Resolutions No. 2019-015 and 2019-026 appointing Jeffrey Falero as District 2 Representative and Dylan Boldt as District 6 Representatives to the Planning Commission/Board of Zoning Adjustments for terms expiring December 31, 2022. A typographical error was discovered on the attached Resolutions after the process of adoption was administered.
Analysis
Per San Leandro Municipal Code Section 1-3-115 Members-Term of Office, the terms of District Members shall terminate upon the expiration of the regular term of the Council Member representing the Council Member District from which the District Member was appointed.
In order to coincide with District 2 and District 6 City Council member terms, staff recommends that the City Council approve by minute order an amendment to the Resolutions to reflect the term date of December 31, 2020 for Resolutions No. 2019-015 and 2019-026. Upon approval, the City Clerk will correct the Resolutions to reflect the correct terms of office for the respective commissioners.
