Staff recommends the Rules Committee consider language to add to the City Council Goals an Element that Supports City Employees and Volunteers
BACKGROUND
On May 20, 2019 the City Council voted unanimously to consider adding a stated goal that supports and/or recognizes city employees and volunteers.
Analysis
The following language is provided to the Rules Committee for consideration and discussion:
Provide an inclusive workplace where all employees and volunteers practice a culture of kindness in their delivery of service and are provided a work environment that fosters the ability to reach their highest potential.
