Title

RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Authorize the City Manager to Execute Amendment No. 1 to the Existing Non-Professional Services Agreement with Adopt a Highway Litter Removal Service of America, Inc. for Litter Removal Services on the City Adopted Section of Interstate 880 in the Amount of $31,152 for Fiscal Year 2019-2020, and to Execute Three Additional One-Year Extensions at the Same Price Subject to Consumer Price Index (CPI) Adjustments in Future Years

 

Body

WHEREAS, a draft amendment to the agreement between the City of San Leandro and Adopt a Highway Litter Removal Service of America, Inc. was presented to this City Council; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment to the agreement.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:

 

1.                     That said amendment to agreement substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and

 

2.                     That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said agreement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and

 

3.                     That the City Manager is authorized to execute Amendment No. 1 for a total contract price of $31,152 for fiscal year 2019-2020; and

 

4.                      That said Amendment No. 1 includes three additional one-year extensions at the same price subject to Consumer Price Index (CPI) adjustments in future years; and

 

5.                     That an original executed amendment to the agreement shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution.
