Title

RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Authorize the City Manager to Execute Program Supplement Agreement No. F028 with the State of California to Provide $73,000 in Grant Funds for the Design Phase of the Washington Avenue Reconstruction Project, Project No. 2018.4020 (Provides for the acceptance of federal grant and City’s commitment to complete the project)

 

Body

WHEREAS, an Administering Agency-State Agreement for Federal-Aid Project No. 04-5041F15 was entered into between the City of San Leandro and the State of California on June 19, 2017; and

 

WHEREAS, the City was awarded a $1,048,000 Regional Transportation Improvement Program Grant, but must first execute a Program Supplement Agreement to receive the funds; and

 

WHEREAS, Program Supplement Agreement No. F028, which amends Administering Agency-State Agreement for Federal-Aid Projects No. 04-5041F15, is presented to this City Council; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:

 

1.                     That said Program Supplement Agreement No. F028, which amends Administering Agency-State Agreement for Federal-Aid Project No. 04-5041F15, substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and

 

2.                     That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said agreement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and

 

3.                     That the original executed agreement, as amended, shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution; and

 

4.                     That $10,000 in local matching funds is authorized for expenditure.
