SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS

The Youth Reinvestment Grant (YRG) application was requested by the San Leandro Unified School District (District) to provide youth services. The grant proposal application was submitted to the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) and was accepted along with the District Board Resolution. The BSCC is requesting the City of San Leandro Resolution.

Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the Resolution where the City of San Leandro desires to participate in the Youth Reinvestment Grant Program. The City is thankful for the continued partnership with the District.
