RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council Approving a Consulting Services Agreement for $156,000 with Eide Bailly LLC for Accounting and Finance Assistance and Appropriating $156,000 from the General Fund Unrestricted Fund Balance

WHEREAS, Eide Bailly presented the City a Proposal for Professional Consulting Services and Accounting Support Services dated September 16, 2019 and an Engagement Letter dated October 30, 2019; and
WHEREAS, accounting and finance assistance is predicated on existing vacancies in Finance Department approved budgeted positions; and
WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Eide Bailly LLC, a copy of which is attached, was presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement, and
WHEREAS, funding in the amount of $156,000 is available in General Fund Unrestricted Fund Balance.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said Consulting Services Agreement and the budget appropriation from General Fund Unrestricted Fund Balance of $156,000 are hereby approved, and execution of the agreement by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
