RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council Approving and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute an Animal Shelter Services Agreement with the East Bay SPCA and to Appropriate Additional 2020-21 Funding of $104,169 from General Fund Undesignated Fund Balance to the Animal Control Operating Account 010-22-001-5120

WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and East Bay SPCA, a copy of which is attached, is presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department is responsible for providing Animal Control Services to the community; and
WHEREAS, the new agreement will require increased General Fund appropriations of $104,169 in Fiscal Year 2020-21 to account 010-22-001-5120 from the General Fund Undesignated Fund Balance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
