RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Authorize the City Manager to Enter the City into a Master Funding Agreement with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro is eligible to receive Federal and/or State funding for certain projects through the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, and

 

WHEREAS, Master Funding Agreements and related Supplements need to be executed with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission before such funds could be claimed, and

 

WHEREAS, implementation guidelines for each project are referenced in the MFA to guide fund eligibility and expenditures; and

 

WHEREAS, the Master Funding Agreement between the City of San Leandro and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission is presented to this City Council; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and the City Manager recommends approval of the Master Funding Agreement. 

 

NOW THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows:

 

1.                     That the City of San Leandro and its agents shall comply with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission Master Funding Agreement; and

2.                     That said agreement substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and

 

3.                     That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said agreement, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney; and

 

4.                     That an original executed agreement shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution.
