SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Per a request from the City Council Rules Committee at its December 15, 2021 meeting, staff presents for the City Council’s consideration proposed modifications to the standard order for City Council meeting agendas. If adopted, all regular City Council meetings for the upcoming 2022 calendar year would be modified using the proposed new order of agenda topics.
Background
Following extensive discussion by the City Council Rules Committee at the December 15, 2021 meeting, the Rules Committee recommended modifying the standard order of agenda topics at City Council meetings. The primary purpose of the proposed changes is to enhance the efficiency of city council meetings.
