RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Approve and Authorize the City Manager to Execute an Animal Shelter Services Agreement between the City of San Leandro and the East Bay SPCA and Increasing General Fund Appropriations for an 18-month contract for the amount of $435,000 to the Police Department.
Body
WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and East Bay SPCA, a copy of which is attached, was presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department provides quality Animal Control Services to the community; and
WHEREAS, the new agreement will require increased General Fund appropriations into Account 010-22-001-5120 of $145,000 in Fiscal Year 2021-22 and $79,000 in Fiscal Year 2022-23 for a not-to-exceed value of $435,000 for an 18 month contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby RESOLVES as follows:
That requestedappropriations and said agreement are hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
