Title

RESOLUTION Approving Consultant Services Agreements with Placeworks, Rincon Consultants Inc., and Michael Baker International, Inc. for On-Call Environmental and Planning Services

 

Body

WHEREAS, in October of 2016, the City advertised a Request for Qualifications for on-call environmental and planning services and, through a competitive process, a selection panel recommended that Placeworks, Rincon Consultants Inc., and Michael Baker International, Inc. enter into a Professional Services Agreement with the City for said services; and

 

WHEREAS, draft agreements between the City of San Leandro and Placeworks, Rincon Consultants Inc., and Michael Baker International, Inc. were presented to this City Council; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreements.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:

 

1.                     That the City Manager is authorized to execute Consultant Services Agreements with Placeworks, Rincon Consultants Inc., and Michael Baker International, Inc. for On-Call Environmental and Planning Services to be provided on an as-needed basis; and

 

2.                     That all three firms will be compensated for their work through a deposit paid for by project applicants to the City; and

 

3.                     All three firms will provide independent environmental analysis and planning services on behalf of the City of San Leandro; and

 

4.                     That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said agreement, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and

 

5.                     That an original executed agreement for each of the three firms shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution.

 

That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
