Mayor Pauline Cutter called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

City staff present: Senior Transportation Engineer Reh-Lin Chen, Engineering & Transportation Director Keith Cooke, Administrative Services Manager Kirsten Foley, Assistant City Manager Jeff Kay, Captain Jaime Knox, Associate Engineer Kyle Lei, Senior Engineer Austine Osakwe, Principal Engineer Michael Stella, City Engineer Nick Thom

Public present: Dominic Chiorare - Arroyo High School, Alyla Nguyen - Arroyo High School, Ivan Oregon - Arroyo High School, Spierce Salazar - Arroyo High School, Verenice Rodriguez - Arroyo High School - attending to observe and to promote alternative transportation to school.

2. DISCUSSION ITEMS

2.A. Discussion Regarding the Police Building and the South Office Expansion

Associate Engineer Kyle Lei presented to the Committee on the Phase 1 design of South Office Expansion.

Committee Requests/Direction to Staff
Committee offered the following suggestions for the project

Consider the following uses for the new South Office meeting room:
Public commission/committee meetings
Emergency shelter
Emergency Operations Center
Storage of provisions to sustain staff during an emergency
Full kitchen

Consider restroom sight lines for both buildings.

Consider unisex restrooms for the lobby area.
